An independent site with one narrow job
Wager Landmark compares online casinos licensed in Great Britain, and it does it from the game side: which studios supply the lobby, how much of the live floor is licensed, and how long it takes to find a specific slot on a phone.
Written for people who know what they want to play
Most casino comparison pages are organised around offers. This one is organised around suppliers, because that is the question a regular player actually has: if you like what Push Gaming or Nolimit City make, a lobby without them is not worth an account, however the welcome offer is worded.
So every operator here gets checked against the same eight criteria, in the same order, and the results are published criterion by criterion rather than averaged into a single figure. The full grid lives on the comparison page; the method behind it is set out on the homepage.
We are not an operator, not a regulator, and not owned by or affiliated with the management of any brand listed here. No games run on this site, no accounts exist here, and no money passes through it. Everything on the page is either a checkable fact about an operator or a stated opinion about how it compares.
How the site is paid for
Affiliate commission. When someone follows a link from here, opens an account and plays, the operator may pay us a share of what it earns from that account. The reader pays nothing extra, and the offer available through our link is the same one available by typing the operator's address into a browser.
That arrangement has an obvious pull to it, so the rules we work to are worth stating plainly:
- Placement is not for sale. Nobody has paid to appear on this site, to appear higher, or to have a criticism removed — and no commercial arrangement changes a verdict.
- Commission rates are not a ranking factor. The operator paying us least can and does finish above the one paying most.
- Every sponsored link is marked, carries rel="sponsored", and sits next to an Ad · 18+ · T&Cs apply note.
- Where an operator is weak, we say where. The DragonBet write-up on this site says its casino lobby is the thinnest of the six, and that is a paying relationship like any other.
The longer version, including what an affiliate link does technically, is on the affiliate disclosure page.
What the verdicts mean
One word per operator instead of a score out of ten. A decimal implies a precision that does not exist when you are weighing a live floor against an app, and it invites people to read a 7.8 as meaningfully worse than an 8.1. The three words we use are:
- Strong
- Broad supplier list, a live section with real depth, and no obvious weak criterion. It will suit most people looking for a general-purpose casino.
- Solid
- Everything works and the mainstream studios are present, but there is a visible gap — usually the live floor, the app, or lobby navigation.
- Niche
- Good at one specific thing and narrow elsewhere. Worth an account for that thing and not much else. It is a description, not a warning.
Where the information comes from
Licence status is confirmed against the Gambling Commission's public register, which anyone can search by operator or licence number. Studio lists, live table counts and lobby structure come from looking at the sites themselves. App availability is checked in the App Store and on Google Play. Support gets a real question through whichever channel the operator offers, and the response is judged on whether it answered the question.
Welcome offers are recorded as a type rather than an amount, since terms are revised often and any figure we printed would go stale. For the current wording you need the operator's own promotions page, and that is where our links point.
If we have something wrong
Lobbies change, studios come and go, apps get pulled. If a detail here is out of date or simply mistaken, tell us and we will check it and correct the page — that goes for operators as much as readers. The address is on the contact page, and corrections do not need to be polite to get acted on.
Two things we will not do
We will not publish systems, strategies or tips for beating a licensed casino game, because there aren't any: results come from a tested random number generator with no memory of the last round. And we will not describe gambling as income, investment or a way to recover a loss. It costs money by design, which is the honest basis for everything else on the site.
If play has stopped feeling like entertainment, the responsible gambling page lists the free UK routes to help, and our practical guide covers the limit and time-out tools every licensed operator has to offer you.
