Cookie policy

One item, and it never leaves your browser

There is no advertising pixel on this site, no analytics script and no consent-management platform sharing your data with a hundred partners. What follows is the entire picture.

What we store

A single preference, kept locally

When you answer the notice at the bottom of the screen, your browser saves one entry in local storage: the key wl-cookie-choice holding either accepted or essential. Strictly it is not a cookie at all, because it is never attached to a request and never sent to a server — it sits on your device so the notice stops reappearing.

Choosing Essential only changes nothing about how the site behaves, and that is deliberate: there is nothing optional to switch off. Both buttons record that you have seen the notice, and the difference exists only so the choice is genuine rather than a dark pattern with one exit.

No first-party cookie is set by these pages. Nothing here tracks you between visits or across other websites, and no profile of your browsing is built or sold.

Everything that touches your browser

wl-cookie-choice — local storage, strictly necessary
One word recording your answer to the notice. Stays until you clear site data. Never transmitted.
Google Fonts — third-party request, no cookie
Three typefaces are fetched from Google's font service, so your browser contacts fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives your IP address as part of any such request. The font service does not set advertising cookies, and the pages remain fully readable if the request is blocked.
Operator affiliate cookies — set on their domain, not ours
Following an operator link takes you to that company's own site with a tracking parameter in the address. The operator may then set a cookie on its own domain to record which affiliate referred the visit. That cookie belongs to them and is governed by their cookie policy, not this one, and typically lasts weeks or months.
Hosting logs — not a cookie
Our host records requests to the site for delivery and security purposes. It is server-side and there is nothing stored in your browser as a result. The privacy policy covers what those logs contain.

Changing your mind, or clearing it

Every browser lets you clear cookies and site data for a single site. In Chrome and Edge it is under Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies and site data; in Safari, Preferences then Privacy then Manage website data; in Firefox, Settings then Privacy & Security then Cookies and Site Data. Removing our entry brings the notice back on the next visit, and nothing else changes.

You can also block third-party requests or run the site with JavaScript disabled. Without JavaScript the notice never appears, no local storage entry is written, and every page, link, table and image still works — the file that handles the notice does nothing else structural.

Cookies on the operators’ side

Once you leave for an operator's site you are in their environment, and casino sites generally use rather more cookies than we do: session handling, fraud checks, marketing attribution and their own analytics. Each licensed operator publishes its own cookie and privacy policies, and they are worth a minute before registering anywhere. If you would prefer no affiliate attribution at all, type the operator's address into the browser instead of following a link from here — the disclosure page explains why that changes nothing for you and everything for us.

If this changes

Should we ever add a measurement tool, this page would list it by name, with its purpose and its retention period, before it went live — and the notice would gain a real choice rather than a decorative one. Questions about any of it go to hello@wagerlandmark.com, and complaints about UK data handling can go to the Information Commissioner's Office.
